                  The next-generation SDXC memory card specification dramatically improves consumers’ digital lifestyles by increasing storage capacity from more than 32 GB up to 2 TB. Its exFAT file system handles large volumes of data. The specification for increasing bus interface, "UHS-I," with speeds up to 104 MB per second and a road map to 300 MB per second, and UHS Speed Class are available for SDXC cards and host devices. Before Using your SDXC Memory Card

The first SDXC memory cards and SDXC host products (digital cameras, video cameras, mobile phones, etc.) have begun to reach the consumer market. As an early adopter of the new SDXC technology, it is important that you understand how to use your new SDXC memory card to its greatest capacity.

Confirm Compatibility

Before inserting your SDXC memory card, confirm the host product is SDXC compatible by locating an SDXC logo on the host product or referring to the host product's instruction manual or manufacturer's information.

Understanding Backwards Compatibility

  • SDXC memory cards can be used only with SDXC host products.
  • SDXC host products can use SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards.
  • SDHC memory cards can be used with SDHC and SDXC host products.
  • SDHC host products can use both SD and SDHC memory cards.
